Terms & Conditions, June 2023

1. The competition is open to all ages, however applicants under 18 years of age may need additional parental consent if their song is selected for production.
2. Competitors must complete the registration form that confirms WorldSong can showcase their work, in order for their song to be considered.  Incomplete entry forms will necessarily be considered as an invalid entry.

4. All competition entries must include a link to an online video – YouTube, vimeo, FaceBook, Insta of your song.  
5. Include the hashtag #worldsongentry with your entry.
6. By entering the competition, you confirm that you own all copyright associated with your song.
7. You give permission for WorldSong to showcase your song and for it to be judged by our team of A&R professionals.
8. Should your song be selected, WorldSong will contact you by email to inform you and outline how we’d like to use your material. All winning songs will receive a ‘video makeover’ as a minimum.
9. There is no deadline for entries, this is a rolling global competition.
10. By entering the competition, competitors indemnify WorldSong Ltd against any copyright infringement, whether deliberate or otherwise.
11. Competitors agree that WorldSong Ltd, its sponsors, agents and all its contributors involved with the competition hereby disclaim and exclude to the greatest extent permitted by law all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever incurred by any competitor their family, friends, or supporters or anyone representing a competitor or competitors including any consequential, special, secondary or indirect loss or damage or any damage to name, brand, goodwill or profits whether arising in tort, contract or otherwise, and arising out of or in relation to or in connection with the WorldSong competition.

In line with the conditions you agree to licence the songs named songs to WorldSong Ltd, to be featured, as detailed, for a duration of one year.


1. WorldSong Ltd may edit, adapt and translate my contributions as appropriate for streaming, distribution and promotional purposes.

2. My contributions will not infringe copyright or similar rights or bring WorldSong Ltd  into disrepute or be defamatory.

3. This agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and I submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

4. I acknowledge that WorldSong has fully explained my participation in the Project and that I fully understand the purpose of the Project.

5. I acknowledge that I have read and understood the WorldSong Ltd Terms and Conditions.

6. I consent to being filmed, recorded and/or photographed for the Competition on the terms set out in this release form and to any resulting footage, recording or stills of me being used for the Competition and/or in material produced in connection with the Competition in perpetuity.

7. I will observe all procedures and Competition rules and obey all instructions in force or given by an authorised WorldSong Ltd official in connection with the management of the Competition and related activities.

8. I understand that the signing of this release form does not guarantee my appearance on WorldSong Ltd.
